Zazie sent me this ( thanks very much) - a really useful list of colon cancer resources. It's quite US-focussed but there are some UK links as well - and the reading list looks really comprehensive.
I'm going to do the chemo - just not sure when. I've got an appointment with the oncologist on Monday to talk about that. I'm also going to have a new CT scan and Contrast Study next week and then, based on that they'll decide whether I can have the reconnection before the chemo - which is what I want. The thing is, there's less than 6 weeks now before they have to begin the chemo ( up to 12 weeks post op) and if I have the reconnection, I have to have fully recovered from the reconnection surgery. I think it's possible ( the reconnection is much smaller surgery than I had last time and I recovered from that very well) but I also think that the doctors may think it's cutting it a bit fine...
